  Calling this place the 'Fast Food' of healthcare would be an insult to fast food.
  
  We were informed that we should arrive 10 minutes early to our first appointment in order to fill out paperwork. After waiting 5 minutes (at the wait here sig ) to be aknowledged by the one staff member behind the counter, she directed us to the other side of the other side of the counter to a sign in sheet. We were then told to wait, specifically away from the counter. The waiting room was decidedly NOT child friendly. Cold, hard floors, nothing to entertain children whatsoever. Not even a picture on the wall.
  
  A full 20 minutes after our appointment time, I was given the paperwork to fill out. I was not allowed to use the counter to do so. After filling out the paperwork, we then had to wait another 10 minutes before being called back to an appointment room. Once in the back, we had to wait in the hallway because no room was available and someone had to quickly "clean" (wipe down the table with cleaning wipes) a room for us to use.
  
  We had to wait in the room for 30 more minutes before we were seen. Not by the Doctor with whom we had scheduled an appointment. The room was equally as dismal as the waiting room. There were only two postings on the wall to look at, neither entertaining to a small child. One touted the importantce of being on time for your appointment, as keeping to their schedule was key. I couldn't even let my tiny walker down in the room, as they had 5 outlets at toddler level, completely uncovered.
  
  We finally saw the Doctor, and she was in the room for maybe 5 minutes. She was pleasant, but offered no additional information about my child's health. She the prescribed my son's vaccinations and said someone would "be with us shortly"
  
  After another 20 minutes, I stepped into the hall to find someone to ask how long we would be expected to wait. 10 minutes later a tech finally came in to start the blood draw 'because we don't want you to wait so long'. The tech was pleasant, but pretty clearly inexperienced. The band-aid on my child's finger fell off before she even left the room.
  
  My one year old had to have 4 shots and a blood draw. At all previous doctor visits we have never had a problem with shots. The staff at Carousel Pediatrics' unprofessional nature ultimately led to a much more traumatic experience than was necessary.
  
  I will never return, will never recommend the facilities to anyone, and will be filing a complaint with my health care provider.
  
  Shame on you Carousel Pediatrics. These are children. Not a commodity.
